What defines the category
Coin machines combining game-like operation with gum, mints, tokens or other merchandise. Marketplace labels can be broad or wrong, so use mechanism, coin path, vending, payout and cabinet evidence.
Inspection priorities
- Inventory vending components
- Check coin and product paths
- Document original labels and award cards
- Research how local law defines the device
Before purchase
Document age evidence, maker, mechanism completeness, restorations and legal research. Price shipping and fragile castings before treating a low hammer price as a bargain.
